The Logistics Leaders European Summit will take place on the 29-30 November 2011.
We are currently finalising details for this years event, details of our 2010 conference can be found in the review below.
What a venue and what a conference! Speakers, panellists and delegates from all over Europe and further afield gathered in Stuttgart for this annual event, held for the first time in the magnificent Mercedes-Benz Museum. This year's conference broke new ground, insofar as it was a two-day event covering every aspect of automotive logistics but divided into an inbound day and an outbound day. Delegates were able to select which day to attend (and a large number attended both) which meant that companies which, for example, specialise exclusively in finished vehicle distribution were guaranteed a day which was 100% relevant to their business. No longer did they have to sit through sessions on inbound logistics or packaging which, although of academic interest, are not core to their activities.
Networking breaks were sponsored by Evolution Time Critical on day one, and Russian Transport Lines on day two.
On the evening of the first day, there was an opportunity for all delegates to join together for a magnificent, networking gala dinner. Held in the Museum, and preceded by a drinks reception sponsored by Priority Freight, the dinner was remarkable, not only for the number of people attending, but also for the standard of cuisine and service, which was truly exceptional and would have shamed many a celebrated restaurant.
Many thanks to all of the sponsors, who made this event a great success.
