Lars Ingeberg joined the Ugland Group in 1989 after completing a degree in shipping economics. He undertook various management roles within UECC when the company was sold to Wallenius and NYK. His main focus was on commercial and operational issues highly specialised on Japanese transplants in Europe and he was involved in new build projects and ship conversions.

When he left UECC, he was the director of both the Yield (operations) and Commercial divisions, including shore-based terminal activities. He is presently a partner and the MD in the newly established global PCTC operator Partner Shipping operating services both in the Pacific and the Atlantic.
