D F Services (Kent) Ltd is an ISO 9001 : 2000 registered, family owned company operating as a vehicle distribution service, while also providing a car handling service, car storage, transportation and a large commercial workshop.
We operate 45 car transporters fulfilling the needs of Honda Manufacturing Europe Ltd, GEFCO (UK) Ltd and Cat UK Ltd contracts plus other contracted & sub contracted work both nationally and internationally on a regular basis. D F Services (Kent) Ltd, is part of a holding group known as D F Holdings Ltd.
Both companies are owned and managed by the same team and operate as a group. Since the company was established in 1987, it has grown from a one-car carrier into a multi-million pound group with over sixty employees.
During the early days the work ranged from returned second hand vehicles, movement of cars from ships, road testing on trade plates, miscellaneous work for Gefco (UK) Ltd. and urgent specialist movements.
The company owns 11 acres of land for vehicle and caravan storage, a vehicle wash bay and offers CCTV & 24 hour manned security.
The company’s success continues as experienced staff carry out vehicle damage inspections and provide ships attendance for loading and discharging vessels and also acting as a dock cargo superintendants for a large RORO service.
Our traffic office is based on site in Sheerness Docks. The traffic office services our major contract for over 70 thousand vehicles per year with a fleet of 45 vehicles. European haulage is undertaken for a major client.
D F Services (Kent) Ltd also has two sub depots at Yeovil, operating both nationally and internationally and Sandtoft nationally.
