FINISHED VEHICLE LOGISTICS
Transportation Services
ROLF SCS offers transportation services for deliveries by ocean and feeder vessels, vehicle transporters, railway carriages, including special carriages and transporters for high-and-heavy equipment and machinery. Our services range from merely providing transport or a driver for your load, to the management of the entire transportation from production centre to dealer.
For land transportation we utilize our own fleet of over 250 transporters for international and regional transportation as well as a fleet of evacuators for inner city deliveries.
Port Services
Together with our partners, ROLF SCS offers complete port handling services in Russia (Petrolesport in St. Petersburg; Vostochny in the Far East), Finland (Kotka), and Estonia (Sillamae) with the total capacity to store over 70,000 vehicles. The diversity of the entry and exit routes and the combination of the ports allow us to offer tailored solutions based on each customer’s requirements.
By March 2010 we will open a Customs Bonded Warehouse at the Petrolesport facility, which will allow bonded storage of vehicles for up to three years without customs clearance.
Storage and Handling Services
ROLF SCS owns and operates two major terminals: ROLF SCS Terminal Moscow; and ROLF SCS Terminal St. Petersburg – offering the full scope of terminal services including vehicle handling, storage, vehicle fuelling, carwash, technical services, etc. The unique terminal management system implemented at our terminals gives our customers full transparency of our operations.
Current storage capacity at our ROLF SCS Terminal Moscow is over 5 000 units, and at our ROLF SCS Terminal St. Petersburg – over 2 300 units.
Further development is planned for our ROLF SCS Terminal Moscow with a substantial increase in storage capacity up to 10 000 units. Regional expansion of ROLF SCS terminals is currently under development.
Technical Services
ROLF SCS offers a full range of technical services at our Terminal in St. Petersburg, such as pre-delivery inspection, option fit, vehicle refurbishment and enhancement.
The technical services centre has a total area of over 5,000m2, including a mechanical shop, paint and body shop and tunnel car washing facility. The current capacity of the facility allows us to service over 1,000 vehicles per month.
Customs Services
ROLF SCS offers you complete solutions for all your needs related to the import and export customs clearance process for passenger cars, buses, trucks, agricultural vehicles or high-and-heavy equipment and machinery.
ROLF SCS owns a unique resource for providing customs clearance services – our own multi-modal ROLF SCS Terminal St. Petersburg – one of the two delivery locations of customs excise goods (including vehicles) in the north-west region of the Russian Federation. It is the only terminal in that region that has its own railway link with a dedicated customs control zone and temporary storage bonded warehouse.
The customs registration and customs control department No4 of the North-West Excise Customs Post of the Central Excise Customs of the Federal Customs Service of Russia is located on site. It is the only authorised unit in the north-west region of Russia for registration of excise goods delivered by sea.

Insurance Services
ROLF SCS provides our customers with the most comprehensive insurance services portfolio tailored to their individual needs. Our insurance broker services range from documentation processing and handling of insurance cases, to customer representation for reimbursement of insurance claims and risk-management consulting.

Transportation Services
ROLF SCS will assist you in planning the most cost-effective way for your incoming shipments, providing all supporting documentation and obtaining the necessary certificates, as well as leading you through the complete process of import customs clearance.
The regular traffic flow from Europe and Asia which we have created enables us to offer transportation of both full and groupage truck and container loads from different locations in Europe to Russia.
Within Russia ROLF SCS offers the complete “door-to-door” parts distribution service by road, rail or air – making all necessary arrangements to get your order delivered on-time, on-cost and to exactly the right location.
Storage and Handling Services
ROLF SCS’ brand new 26,000m2 purpose built grade A parts distribution warehouse in Moscow provides a multi-client operation with up to 35,000 pallet positions and custom designed mezzanine for storage of small parts, capable of securely storing the whole range of automotive components – from the smallest bulb to the largest body panel.
ROLF SCS has started its programme of regional development. Early in 2009 we opened our distribution hub in St. Petersburg which will enable us to give better services to our customers by reducing transit time and managing logistics costs. More hubs are planned to be opened in the Ural, Siberian and Southern regions.
