Michael Comerford is a Customs and EDI consultant with Global Commerce Systems, Inc. Herndon, Virginia. Prior to this he held various management positions with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) including Chief Inspector in the Ports of Buffalo, New York and Boston, Massachusetts.
Michael Comerford developed the CBP Pre-Arrival Processing System (PAPS), was a CBP national project manager for development of the C-TPAT Highway Carrier and FAST Commercial Driver programs between Canada and the United States, and a national field representative for NATAP (North American Trade Automation Prototype) and ITDS (International Trade Data System) projects.
Mr.Comerford holds a B.A. in Biology from Canisius College, and is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker.
